Activities
We at Orion believe that excellence should not be an act it should become a habit. Pursuit of excellence with sincerity of purpose is what we Orion CBSE strives for. Looking back at our journey we are both happy and proud at the thought of the memorable milestone we have crossed the great strides made in every field of activity.
The school takes pride in informing this august gathering that the school has participated in many competitive exams where our students have repeatedly shown their mettle and won the various medals.
Many Programs on - Vanmohotsav Day, Yoga day, Charity to poor people, Cyber crime, ASL training, Sanskrit Day, Value education integrated club, Science exhibition, Vishakha committee, Career counseling, Personality Development Programs, etc. are conducted in the school. The school also takes active interest in cultural activities and celebrated many festivals and important days. Social awareness and cleanliness: All the students of our school along with their teachers distributed clothes and eatables to poor and needy people. Taking active interest in Bharata Swatcha Abhiyan the students played active part in Orion clean mission and cleaned adjoined locales.
Tour and Trips:
Trip to Nasik Water park was conducted for 5th and 6th grade students for two days. An excursion was conducted to Mysore, Bangalore, Ooty for grade 7th to 9th students for 5 days.

Teachers as Mentors
These days we are all witnessing with great angst how the temples of learning, the schools have been witness to a spate of violence committed very shockingly by the young school children. This shall be a matter of great concern to all of us. Our young generation is nurtured in an electronic environment that incites them to violence. The young susceptible minds of the tender age are prone to the bad influence of violence-ridden mobile and computer games that create havoc in their minds and are making juvenile delinquents. Our children are fast turning into cocoons lying in their isolated environment of electronic media and are fast becoming averse to talking to their own family members and friends. This artificial environment is making the children highly self centered and breaking the human relations. This rings a warning bell to all of us and forewarns us about the impending disaster the human society is fast approaching at. We all the adults have a collective responsibly to fight this menace confounding our young generation and making them agitated and highly aroused personalities. We need to educate our children about the dangers of uncontrolled indulgence in electronic media and encourage them to participate more in those activities that bring them closer to Mother Nature.
We at our School take great pride in our team of educators. A harmonious mix of experience and youth is what defines the organizational mix at our School spend quality time with trained teaching staff who have the patience and ability to talk to children at their level and help them to become more creative, innovative, curious and independent, thus preparing them for their continued learning. The teachers and support staff at our School undergo intensive on job training and empowerment programs during the course of their tenure which ensures that they are well versed with the current educational concepts and orientations. Our teachers strive to be creative, innovative, caring and eager to learn and impart knowledge and develop relevant skills amongst the children. The comparatively small size of each class enables our teachers to give attention to each student both inside and outside the classroom. Our wonderful team of teachers works with the dedication and put in their efforts for the welfare of the students.
We are fortunate to have a cadre of nearly 110 teaching and non teaching staff, well trained, well experienced, dedicated and capable of fulfilling the demands of the growing modern generation.
Apart from the various core subject teachers, we have an enthusiastic team of co-curricular activity teachers for Physical Education, Music, Dance, Yoga, Karate, Arts & Crafts, etc.
This helps in exploring and nurturing the innate talents and skills of our promising students
Parents as Partners
The school firmly believes in sustained partnership with parents for optimum development of the student.
As a part of this initiative, regular interactions and meetings with parents shall be organized with the objective of discussing the progress of each child.
Contact with Parents
The school firmly believes for the healthy development of a child, both parents and teachers are to be partners in the teaching-learning process. So regular Open Days and Parent Teacher Meetings are held before and after each test/exam.
It is mandatory for parents to attend these interactions.
To keep the parents in touch with the school activities, parents may visit the school after the school hours to be in touch with the teachers and check the progress of their ward.
